The live performance of the 2022 GALWAD story was written by Owen Sheers, Hanna Jarman and Emily Burnett, directed by Gethin Evans, produced by Claire Doherty, art directed by Marc Rees and Edith Morris, filmed by Bani Mendy and devised with the young cast and performed with a community cast. The script was multi-lingual – combining Welsh and English and BSL.  

This process of devising over six weeks builds on the exceptional network of youth-led practices in Wales and on the considerable history of site-specific theatre. Using immersive, single-shot cinematography, this was the first live-streamed story told over seven days in the UK.
