Our aim is for this project to be ‘radically inclusive’ – by that we mean that we commit to engaging, learning, implementing actions and collaborating to ensure the project is inclusive at every level – from the way in which we work as a team, to the stories represented by our project, to the people who make, shape and experience the project.
As a team we are committed to racial injustice and to addressing economic and social inequity. This means we strive to overcome existing barriers to participation and opportunity and to promote equality in everything we do. We’ve got a lot still to learn.
So to help us turn this project into an opportunity to learn and directly address systemic racism and ableism, we’ve devised a set of working principles, which we will continue to revise and improve upon as we make this project for 2022 – sharing our experience and learning as we go.
